Dear 6th graders, are you interested in math? Do you want to compete for Turtle Rock against other schools’ young talents? Then come to the 2019-2020 Turtle Rock Mathcounts tryouts. All interested 6th graders are invited to participate in the tryout:
Time: 2:30 – 3:30, Friday, Nov. 8th
Location: Turtle Rock MPR
Who can participate: all 6th graders
What to bring: pencil and eraser (no calculator allowed)
What to prepare: Please arrange how your kids can get home after the tryout, as they will miss the school bus.
A small group of students will be selected after the tryout, and they will then go through a series of math trainings to get prepared. The training will be outside school hours and will be free. More details will be sent out after the tryout.
